Excellent WordPress App Sites

We build industrial-grade, highly interactive application sites on top of WordPress. A prime example is our work for the Kanagawa Branch of the Japanese Workers’ Co-operative Union (kanagawa.jwcc.coop). Built using a Hybrid Static-Hydration architecture, it features a local JSON database as a single source of truth, upcoming events, a custom jobs map (built using MapLibre GL with zero external tracking), and secure, custom ‘Magic Link’ token authentication workflows to simplify logins for less-technical branch managers.

1. Multi-Branch Autonomy & Portal Customization

A decentralized CMS architecture built for multi-branch organizations. Each branch manager is equipped with a secure, simplified dashboard to customize their own branch pages, upload custom background hero images (as seen in Yamakita or Gontazaka branch examples), write news articles, and post local jobs. The system aggregates these updates, randomly cycling branch-submitted photos on the main homepage background to create a dynamic, co-created portal.

2. Interactive Maps & Jobs Directory Search

An Office Finder map and Jobs Directory search system built using MapLibre GL and Leaflet. It loads coordinates entirely client-side, allowing users to browse offices interactively or filter jobs by category and location in real time with keyword highlighting. 3. Branch-Specific Interactive Access Maps

Individual branch and office pages feature interactive, illustrative branch map elements. Coupled with a quick-scroll anchor button (e.g. “View Map & Access”) positioned below the page title, users can jump directly to the contact details and map section at the bottom of the page with a smooth scrolling animation. 4. Spotlight Command Palette Search

A global command palette that uses client-side cached indexing to search pages, news, job posts, and PDF documents instantly. Results are grouped into categorized columns, and PDF results link directly to attachment files. (Click screenshot to view in full resolution)

5. Interactive Events & News Articles Feed

An interactive articles, news, and event feed featuring categorization tabs, calendar vs. list view layout controls, event filters, and instant client-side pagination. 6. Unified Cooperative Footer Card System

A comprehensive, unified footer layout shared across all pages. It features an interactive grid of campaign and information cards (e.g. Jobs, Invitations to Co-op, Self-Evaluation links), organized organization links, and a highlighted networks section to display cooperative associations clearly. 7. Admin Guided Tours & Operation Manual

An interactive, client-side Guided Tour walkthrough engine designed to onboard non-technical managers directly inside the WordPress administrative backend. Users are guided through complex workflows step-by-step via floating glassmorphic HUD instruction boxes, helping them learn how to update branch profiles, create job posts, or edit footer cards easily. 8. Professional-Grade Lighthouse Audit Scores

By enforcing clean asset minification, optimized images, strict accessibility rules, and structured semantic layouts, the application achieves outstanding results under Google Lighthouse audits:

9. WCAG 3.0 APCA Contrast Audit HUD & Dynamic Cover

A dynamic cover image slideshow system that lets local branches upload custom header photos, while mathematically ensuring text legibility. On the frontend, a background overlay engine samples image luminance and uses the WCAG 3.0 APCA (Advanced Perceptual Contrast Algorithm) to calculate text contrast. 10. Editorial Draft Approval System

An integrated editorial review and draft approval workflow configured directly within the backend. Drafts created by local editors are securely routed through a pending queue, requiring review and authorization from cooperative managers before final publication. This ensures consistent communication standards and collective consensus without introducing administrative bottlenecks.

AI-Powered Research & News Archiving

We build semi-automated research pipelines that crawl, extract, and catalog information from global publications. Using session-maintained scrapers to bypass paywalls, our tools extract clean, full-text content, classify articles by research theme (such as renewable energy, educational technology, or agricultural trade), and compile interactive bilingual databases and webinar transcript portals.

E2E Automated Testing
